The MBSH Alumni Association awarded $31,250 worth of scholarships to 24 deserving seniors in the 2019 graduating
class at an assembly on May 29th at the school. We are proud of ALL of our graduates and wish them continued

LENDING A HELPING HAND

On Wednesday, May 25th, 2016, the Miami Beach Senior High Alumni Association
awarded $41,500 in college scholarships to 22 deserving Beach High graduates. This is
the most money awarded in a given year by the association. Our school is fortunate to
have a network of generous alumni who are willing to give back. We are very happy to
have helped these students further their education in today’s challenging environment.
On behalf of our studentsand the association, I wholeheartedly want to thank our
donors, our fabulous Scholarship Committee of Arlene Amarant (Chair), Judi Katzen,
Alexa Rossy, PaulRuthfield, Linda Weitz, and Linda Zilber, and our Hall of Fame Chairs
MickeyBerman and Larry Robbins for making this special day possible.
